As realtors, we all do the same thing...we use the same process and resources to get the job done...and we all feel that we do it better than our counterparts.
What separates us is as unique as the individual. Each one sets their own level of commitment, adherence to ethical standard and strives to perceive the needs of their buyer or seller. Sometimes "personality" is the most unique gift one brings to the table.
The expression "home is where the heart is" can ring very true. For some…home is sweet, for others, it is their biggest investment, and yet another one just wishes he had his own.
On a vacation to Mexico I was blessed with an opportunity to serve clean water, bread and rice to those who lived on a garbage dump. That experience forever changed my perception of home and even further of my own existence. Subsequent travel has only confirmed that we are little fish... in one big pond. In the only way that can really matter..... we are all equal on the playing field of life. What we give sets us apart more than by what we have.
This has led me to a personal decision to faithfully support mission organizations and I would encourage others to consider doing their part to whatever degree they are able.
